Biography
Mahesh Narayanan is an Indian film director, screenwriter, editor, and cinematographer working primarily in Malayalam cinema, with work in Tamil and Hindi.
After graduating from University College Thiruvananthapuram, he studied at the M.G.R. Government Film and Television Training Institute.
He began his career as an advertising editor before moving into documentaries, short films, and feature cinema.
His editing credits include Beautiful, Traffic, Kanyaka Talkies, Vishwaroopam, and Ennu Ninte Moideen.
He subsequently moved into writing and directing, making his directorial debut with Take Off in 2017. His later films include C U Soon, Malik, and Ariyippu.
His work demonstrates the creative relationship between editing, writing, cinematography, and direction.
